Boulder Breaker
The 
Boulder Breaker is Daruk’s prized weapon, forged specifically to crush stone and bone. In practice, this means it excels against armored opponents, as its heavy impacts bypass or shatter their defenses. It also applies a slowing effect to enemies you hit, making it easier to land follow-up strikes or retreat if needed. Beyond combat, the weapon can break stone blocks with ease, so it doubles as a mining tool for rock-based materials.
Use the Boulder Breaker when you expect to fight heavily protected foes or need to clear stone terrain quickly. Its slow swing speed is a trade-off for its raw power, so time your attacks carefully.
Hylian Shield
The 
Hylian Shield is a royal relic described as having unmatched endurance. This shield is the most reliable defensive option in the mod, offering superior durability compared to other shields. It does not have special offensive properties, but its longevity means you can block many hits before it shows wear. Carry it as your primary shield for general exploration and tough boss fights where sustained blocking is necessary.
Knights Claymore
The 
Knights Claymore is a mighty blade once wielded by Hyrule's knights. It is heavy and slow, but each swing deals devastating damage. Its true potential unlocks when you wear a full set of Knight Armor—with the complete set equipped, the claymore gains bonus damage on top of its already high base output.
This weapon suits a deliberate, heavy-hitting playstyle. Do not use it for fast skirmishes; instead, reserve it for powerful single strikes against strong enemies. Pairing it with the full Knight Armor set is highly recommended to maximize its effectiveness.
Silver Longsword
The 
Silver Longsword is a sleek Zora blade that glimmers with elegance. Its combat performance is tied to water: it deals extra damage when wet, meaning it shines in rainy weather, while swimming, or when you are standing in water. Additionally, if you wear a full set of Zora armor, the weapon becomes even more powerful, stacking an additional damage bonus on top of the wet condition.
For best results, use the Silver Longsword in aquatic environments or during rain. The full Zora armor set turns this sword into a formidable option for underwater or coastal combat, where its speed and bonus damage make it highly effective.
Lizalfos Horn Dagger
The 
Lizalfos Horn Dagger is a crafted weapon rather than a found one. Its recipe is a shaped pattern requiring two 
Lizalfos Horn items and one 
Stick. The horns are presumably dropped by Lizalfos enemies, and the stick is a common material.
This dagger is a lightweight, quick weapon suited for fast attacks. It does not have the raw power of the claymore or the elemental bonuses of the silver longsword, but it offers a cheap and accessible option for early or mid-game combat. Craft it when you have spare horns and need a reliable secondary weapon.
Choosing Your Arsenal
Each weapon fills a different niche. The Boulder Breaker is for breaking armor and stone. The Hylian Shield is your defensive anchor. The Knights Claymore rewards a full armor set with massive damage. The Silver Longsword is situational but deadly near water with Zora gear. The Lizalfos Horn Dagger is a simple, craftable fallback.
Consider your current armor and environment when selecting a weapon. For general use, pair the Hylian Shield with either the Knights Claymore (if you have Knight Armor) or the Silver Longsword (if you are near water). Keep a Lizalfos Horn Dagger as a lightweight backup, and switch to the Boulder Breaker when facing armored enemies or mining stone.
