Zenith Combat Stats Guide for Offense and Defense
Offensive Stats That Scale Your Damage
Crit Chance determines how often your attacks land as critical strikes. This stat appears on weapons. When your Crit Chance exceeds 100%, you gain the ability to land multiple critical hits in a single swing. However, the actual power of those critical strikes is not fixed—it depends entirely on your Crit Damage value.
Crit Damage acts as the multiplier for all critical strikes you land. It also replaces the standard jump-attack bonus. Normally, a jump attack deals 1.5 times your regular damage, but with Zenith, your jump crits use your Crit Damage value instead. This means investing in Crit Damage changes both your ground crits and your aerial strikes. Like Crit Chance, Crit Damage is found only on weapons.
Elemental and Health-Based Damage
Fire Damage adds magical harm to every melee hit you make. Beyond the immediate magic damage, it ignites the target for a brief period. The stronger your Fire Damage stat, the longer the burn lasts. This stat is exclusive to melee weapons.
Cold Damage similarly adds magic damage to melee attacks, but its secondary effect is slowing the enemy. The severity of the slow scales with how much Cold Damage you have. Higher values mean the target moves noticeably slower after you strike. This stat also appears only on melee weapons.
Current HP Damage works differently from the other offensive stats. Instead of a flat bonus, every hit you land deals extra physical damage equal to a fraction of the target's remaining health. This makes it especially effective against enemies that are still at full or high health, since the bonus shrinks as the target loses health. Heavy weapons are the sole source of this stat, so you must use that weapon class to benefit from it.
Defensive Sustain Through Life Steal
Life Steal converts a portion of your physical damage output directly into healing. When you deal physical damage, a percentage of that damage is added straight to your health bar. This provides a reliable way to recover during prolonged fights, as long as you keep landing hits. In practice, weapons are the primary—and usually the only—source of Life Steal. You will rarely find this stat on armor or accessories.
Building a Combat Loadout
For offensive focus, pair Crit Chance with Crit Damage on the same weapon. This gives you frequent, hard-hitting criticals. If you prefer consistent pressure over burst, stack Fire Damage or Cold Damage to add magic damage that bypasses physical resistances. Current HP Damage on a heavy weapon is ideal for opening fights against full-health enemies, but you will need a secondary plan once their health drops.
For defense, Life Steal is your main sustain tool. Since it scales with your physical damage, you need to keep your raw damage output high for the healing to matter. Combining Life Steal with high Crit Chance means your critical hits also heal you for more, turning offense into defense.
Remember that elemental damage and Current HP Damage do not feed into Life Steal—only physical damage does. Plan your weapon choices around what you want to achieve: burst criticals, elemental control, health-based execution, or sustained self-healing. Each stat fills a distinct role, and no single weapon will cover all of them, so choose based on your preferred combat style.
