Apotheosis enchanting calculator

Enter how many of each shelf stand around your enchanting table. The calculator adds up the table's stats the way the mod does, shows the level of each slot and the power it can roll, and lists every enchantment level within reach, from an unlucky roll to a lucky one.

What the three stats do

Eterna is the table's level: the bottom slot enchants at exactly that level, the middle one at 60 to 80% of it and the top one at 20 to 40%. Every shelf has a ceiling it can raise Eterna to. A vanilla bookshelf adds 2 but stops at 30, which is why fifteen of them max out a normal table. The mod adds shelves up in order of their ceilings, so a stack of low shelves fills the first 30 levels and only higher-tier shelves carry the table past that, up to 100 with Draconic Endshelves.

Quanta is how far the actual enchanting power strays from the level. It starts at 15% and moves the roll up or down by up to that much, most rolls landing within a third of it. A Geode-Encased Bookshelf of Stability makes the swing one-way: never below the level, only above it. Quanta is what reaches the top enchantment levels, because power, not level, decides them.

Arcana guarantees extra enchantments (two from 33%, three from 66%, four from 99%) and shifts the odds toward rare ones. At zero Arcana a common enchantment is ten times as likely as a very rare one; at 99% the order flips.

How high enchantments go

Apotheosis lets enchantments pass their vanilla maximum. Beyond it, each extra level costs more power than the last, and the maximum is the last level whose cost still fits under the power cap of 200. That puts Sharpness at IX (power 188), Efficiency and Power at IX, and Protection at VIII. The Power needed column lists the cost of every level, so you can see how much Quanta you need to reach the top one.
