Configuring the Energy Transfuser and Flux Gate in Draconic Evolution
High-capacity energy equipment in Draconic Evolution requires industrial charging stations and precise flow limiters to manage extreme Forge Energy transfers. The
Energy Transfuser serves as a specialized four-slot charging and discharging apparatus designed to rapidly charge wyvern tools, draconic capacitors, and high-tier energy gear, while the
Flux Gate provides adjustable throughput throttling to prevent power grid overloads. Mastering their configurations ensures efficient power delivery across your base.
Crafting the Energy Transfuser and Flux Gate
Fabricating high-voltage power regulation apparatuses requires advanced draconium alloys and dimensional catalysts:
- Construct the
Energy Transfuser on a crafting table using four
Draconium Ingot items in the four outer corners, one
Energy Core Stabilizer in the top-middle slot, three
Draconium Core components filling the middle-left, middle-right, and bottom-middle slots, and one vanilla
Enchanting Table secured in the exact center. - Construct the
Flux Gate on a crafting grid using four
Iron Ingot items in the four corners, one
Potentiometer in the top-middle slot, two
Block of Redstone units flanking the center, one
Draconium Core in the center, and one
Redstone Comparator in the bottom-middle slot. - While the
Energy Transfuser connects omnidirectionally across all block faces, the
Flux Gate is strictly directional, accepting energy input exclusively through its rear face and emitting throttled power through its front face.
Transfuser Slot Modes and Charging Behaviors
Right-clicking the
Energy Transfuser opens a multi-slot interface featuring four independent charging bays, each marked with an individual mode button:
- Buffer mode: In this state, the slot acts as an intermediary energy reservoir. It accepts electrical power from external energy conduits as well as internal discharge slots, while feeding power outward to external consumers or internal charge slots.
- Charge mode: The slot draws energy directly from external power feeds and internal buffer slots. Items placed here receive maximum charging wattage until completely filled, at which point automated logistical pipes can extract the charged gear.
- Discharge mode: The slot extracts stored energy from inserted capacitors, portable batteries, or charged equipment, routing the reclaimed energy into connected buffer slots or adjacent energy networks.
- Disabled mode: Inactivates the designated slot completely, preventing automated pipes from routing items into that bay during maintenance cycles.
Priority Distribution and Throughput Regulation
Managing multi-item charging speeds relies on toggling the transfuser's input priority mode:
- Sequential input priority: When enabled, the leftmost item slot receives the full available input power. Only after that item reaches full energy capacity does the transfuser direct electrical current to the next adjacent slot.
- Balanced input priority: Divides incoming electrical wattage equally across all active charging bays. Each slot receives a steady, capped flow equal to one-quarter of the total incoming transfer rate.
- Integrating a
Flux Gate directly inline with the power supply cable allows operators to configure exact flow limits from 0 RF/t up to millions of RF/t, protecting sensitive machinery while directing surge capacity toward high-tier Draconic capacitors.
