Guide to Fusion Crafting for Advanced Draconic Evolution Items

guide

This guide explains how to set up and use the Fusion Crafting system to create advanced items. Fusion Crafting is essential for making many high-tier items, including powerful tools, armor, and energy storage components.

Fusion Crafting Core

The Fusion Crafting Core is a central component for the Fusion Crafting system. To craft a Fusion Crafting Core, combine four Lapis Lazuli Storage Blocks, four Diamonds, and one Draconium Core in a crafting grid.

Draconium Fusion Crafting Injector

The Draconium Fusion Crafting Injector is another key part of the Fusion Crafting setup. To craft a Draconium Fusion Crafting Injector, you will need two Diamonds, one Draconium Core, five Stones, and one Iron Storage Block.

Fusion Crafting Recipes

The Fusion Crafting system has 39 known recipes. These recipes allow for the creation of many powerful items. Some examples of items that can be created through Fusion Crafting include:

To initiate Fusion Crafting, place the required ingredients into the Fusion Crafting setup. The specific arrangement and number of Draconium Fusion Crafting Injectors needed will vary depending on the recipe. Once the setup is complete, the items will be crafted.

What fusion actually produces

The fusion list is 39 recipes, and it is where the mod's real content sits. It covers the awakened and chaotic tiers — Chaotic Axe, Chaotic Bow, Chaotic Capacitor, Chaotic Chestpiece and their siblings — along with utility items like the Advanced Dislocator and the bulk conversions such as four Awakened Draconium Block at a time.

Set against 137 ordinary crafting recipes, that 39 is small but decisive: nothing at the top of the mod can be made any other way.

Injectors are the throughput limit

A fusion setup's capability is set by how many injectors surround the core and what tier they are. Since higher-tier recipes demand higher-tier injectors, upgrading the ring is a recurring cost rather than a one-off build — plan space around the core for more injectors than you currently need.

Material order

The material chain leading in is short: Draconium Dust or Ender Draconium Ore smelt to a Draconium Ingot, and Awakened Draconium Dust smelts to an Awakened Draconium Ingot. Those three furnace recipes are the only ones in the mod, so everything else you feed the injectors was crafted or fused first.

Version parity

Both the 1.21.1 and 1.20.1 builds carry the same 39 fusion recipes, so a fusion setup described for either version reproduces exactly on the other.
