Epic Knights weapon stats

How Epic Knights weapons differ

Each weapon type has a base damage and speed, and the material adds to the damage in proportion to how slow the weapon is: a heavy weapon gains more per material tier than a quick one. Dense materials also slow big weapons down a little. Durability comes from the material alone, the same for a dagger as for a zweihander.

The numbers are only half the story. Armour piercing lets part of the hit ignore the target's armour. Two-handed weapons suffer when you hold something in your off hand: level I attacks a little slower, level II attacks much slower and deals less damage. Weapons that can block stop up to a set amount of damage, more reliably the lighter they are; flame-bladed swords cause bleeding that lowers maximum health, halberds can pull riders off their mounts, and lances deal extra damage from a charging horse.
