Crafting Abhorrent Crystal Weapons and Armor in Macabre
Abhorrent Crystal forms the foundation of advanced mid-tier weaponry and defensive gear in Macabre. Players acquire these deep red gems by excavating subterranean veins of 
Abhorrent Ore or by looting organic containers scattered throughout the dimension.
Locating Abhorrent Ore
Subterranean deposits of Abhorrent Ore generate beneath Y level 20, continuing down to bedrock at Y level -64. The ore clusters replace subterranean 
Hard Stone in veins containing seven blocks. Players can also recover loose gems by searching through fleshy environmental structures:
- Mining natural Abhorrent Ore deposits beneath Y level 20.
- Breaking subterranean
Pot containers scattered across dark chambers. - Excavating biological
Stomach nodes embedded inside fleshy terrain.
Gathering nine individual gems allows players to assemble an 
Abhorrent Crystal Block, which provides compact storage and can be disassembled back into nine crystals on a crafting table.
Weaponry and Harvesting Tools
Abhorrent Crystal implements offer high damage thresholds and durability during combat. Every tool recipe requires Abhorrent Crystal along with 
Cracked Bone or wooden sticks:
Abhorrent Sword: Crafted with two Abhorrent Crystal gems aligned above one Cracked Bone handle.
Abhorrent Pickaxe: Assembled by placing three Abhorrent Crystal gems across the upper row with two sticks positioned down the central column.
Abhorrent Axe: Constructed using three Abhorrent Crystal gems in the upper left corner supported by two sticks in the center.
Abhorrent Shovel: Built with one Abhorrent Crystal placed directly above two sticks.
Abhorrent Hoe: Formed with two Abhorrent Crystal gems across the top row above two sticks.
Abhorrent Spear: Fashioned using three Abhorrent Crystal gems aligned with two handle sticks for extended combat reach.

Abhorrent Leggings: Requires seven Abhorrent Crystal gems arranged down both vertical columns and across the upper bridge.
Abhorrent Boots: Requires four Abhorrent Crystal gems filling the lower corner slots.
Constructing the Abhorrent Turret
Beyond wearable equipment, Abhorrent Crystal serves as a primary component in automated base defense. Players can construct an 
Abhorrent Turret to guard outposts against aggressive mobs:
- Place two Abhorrent Crystal gems in the top corners of the crafting grid.
- Insert two
Crystalized Blood Clot ingots across the middle flanking slots. - Position one
Root of Infestation in the center slot. - Place two planks across the bottom row.
Deploying the Abhorrent Turret creates a stationary sentry that targets encroaching hostile entities, protecting player encampments.
