Crafting and Upgrading Sapphire Tools and Armor
This guide explains how to craft 
Sapphire tools and armor using a smithing table. All Sapphire items are created through a smithing transformation process.
General Crafting Process
To create any Sapphire item, you will need three components:
- A
Smithing Template - A base tool or armor piece
- A
Sapphire Ingot
The base tool or armor piece can be one of several types. The specific base item determines which Sapphire item you will produce. For example, to craft 
Sapphire Boots, you must use a pair of boots as the base item.
Crafting Sapphire Armor
You can upgrade various existing armor pieces into their Sapphire equivalents.
Sapphire Helmet
To craft a 
Sapphire Helmet, combine the following in a smithing table:
- Smithing Template
- One of the following helmets:
Ametrine Helmet, 
Aquamarine Helmet, 
Citrine Helmet, 
Jade Helmet, Netherite Helmet, or 
Peridot Helmet - Sapphire Ingot
Sapphire Leggings
To craft 
Sapphire Leggings, combine the following in a smithing table:
- Smithing Template
- One of the following leggings:
Ametrine Leggings, 
Aquamarine Leggings, 
Citrine Leggings, 
Jade Leggings, Netherite Leggings, or 
Peridot Leggings - Sapphire Ingot
Sapphire Boots
To craft Sapphire Boots, combine the following in a smithing table:
- Smithing Template
- One of the following boots:
Ametrine Boots, 
Aquamarine Boots, 
Citrine Boots, 
Jade Boots, Netherite Boots, or 
Peridot Boots - Sapphire Ingot
Crafting Sapphire Tools
You can upgrade various existing tools into their Sapphire equivalents.
Sapphire Pickaxe
To craft a 
Sapphire Pickaxe, combine the following in a smithing table:
- Smithing Template
- One of the following pickaxes:
Ametrine Pickaxe, 
Aquamarine Pickaxe, 
Citrine Pickaxe, 
Jade Pickaxe, Netherite Pickaxe, or 
Peridot Pickaxe - Sapphire Ingot
Sapphire Shovel
To craft a 
Sapphire Shovel, combine the following in a smithing table:
- Smithing Template
- One of the following shovels:
Ametrine Shovel, 
Aquamarine Shovel, 
Citrine Shovel, 
Jade Shovel, Netherite Shovel, or 
Peridot Shovel - Sapphire Ingot
Sapphire Sword
To craft a 
Sapphire Sword, combine the following in a smithing table:
- Smithing Template
- One of the following swords:
Ametrine Sword, 
Aquamarine Sword, 
Citrine Sword, 
Jade Sword, Netherite Sword, or 
Peridot Sword - Sapphire Ingot
