How the mineshaft picks its results

Each miner spirit works through one or more result tables: the foliot digs basic stone and common ores, the djinni ores only, the afrit adds deepslate ores, the marid adds ancient debris and iesnium, and the ancient eldritch miner has a table of its own. Every operation draws from all of a miner's tables at once, weighted by each entry, so a miner with a big table of stone dilutes its ore chances. Higher spirits also work faster, from 20 seconds per operation for the foliot to under a second for the ancient miner, and last longer.

Enchanting the miner helps: efficiency shortens each operation, fortune adds extra rolls and silk touch multiplies each stack. Ores from other mods only join the table when a mod that adds them is installed, and each one dilutes the rest.
