Powah: Getting Started with Crystals and Components
Powah is an energy-generation and storage mod, and it starts with a set of crafting components and its Energizing Orb. This guide covers the materials that everything else is built from.
Dielectric components
Nearly every Powah recipe uses dielectric parts. Craft 
Dielectric Paste from coal, clay and lava (or coal, clay and blaze powder), then make 
Dielectric Rod from paste and iron bars, and combine rods into a 
Dielectric Casing — the shell of most machines.
Energizing crystals
The Energizing Orb powers a set of energizing recipes that create Powah's tiered crystals:
Blazing Crystal — from blaze powder or a blaze rod.
Niotic Crystal — from a diamond.
Spirited Crystal — from an emerald.
Nitro Crystal — from nether stars, redstone blocks and blazing crystal.
These crystals define Powah's tier ladder, from Basic through Blazing, Niotic, Spirited and Nitro.
Capacitors and steel
Capacitors store charge inside machines — a 
Basic Capacitor from iron, dielectric paste and a redstone block, with large and tiny variants. 
Energized Steel (from iron and gold in the Energizing Orb) and an 
Ender Core are components for the mod's advanced and wireless gear.
