Advanced Storage Features in Sophisticated Storage
Sophisticated Storage offers a variety of advanced features to enhance your storage experience, including fluid pumping, experience management, and options for infinite item storage.
Fluid Pumping Upgrades
Sophisticated Storage provides several upgrades for managing fluids with your storage tanks.
Pump Upgrade: This upgrade facilitates the transfer of fluids between a Tank upgrade and any adjacent blocks.
Advanced Pump Upgrade: Similar to the basic Pump Upgrade, this advanced version also pumps fluids between a Tank upgrade and adjacent blocks. Additionally, it can interact with fluid containers held in your hand and fluid blocks present in the world. A key feature of the Advanced Pump Upgrade is its ability to filter which specific fluids are pumped.
Experience Pump Upgrade: This specialized upgrade allows for the transfer of experience between a Tank upgrade and the player.
Infinite Storage Options
For those seeking unlimited item storage, Sophisticated Storage offers upgrades that make items infinite.
Infinity Upgrade (Admin): When applied, this upgrade makes all items within the storage block infinite. Only players with administrative privileges can set items to be infinite and break storage blocks equipped with this upgrade.
Survival Infinity Upgrade: This upgrade also renders all items in the storage block infinite. Unlike the admin version, all players have the ability to set items as infinite and break storage blocks containing this upgrade.
Storage Tool
The 
Storage Tool is a versatile item used for managing various aspects of your storage blocks. It can perform several functions:
- Link storage blocks together.
- Lock storage blocks.
- Hide counts of items within storage.
- Hide the tier display of storage blocks.
- Hide lock indicators.
- Hide overlays on storage blocks.
To use the Storage Tool for these functions, hold the sneak key while scrolling.
Limited barrels
Beyond the standard barrel there are four Limited Barrels, numbered I to IV. Each exposes a small, fixed number of slots with a stack-size multiplier applied, which makes them the right choice for a wall of single-item storage where you want to see and reach one resource per block rather than open a grid.
Decoration
Two items handle appearance rather than capacity. The 
Decoration Table sets the material and colour scheme a storage block is built with, and the 
Paintbrush applies that decoration to blocks already placed in the world — main colour, accent colour, and the individual materials are all shown in its tooltip. Restyling a finished storage wall does not mean rebuilding it.
Moving it all
None of these features survive a careless pickaxe. Breaking a storage block spills its contents as loose items, and the game refuses the break outright when that would spawn more item entities than the server allows. 
Packing Tape is the answer: one slime ball and one paper, eight uses per tape, or thirty-two in a 
Super Packing Tape made from four of them. A taped block comes up carrying its inventory, its tier, its upgrades and their settings.
The alternative for anything that travels with you is a metal shulker box, made by combining a copper, iron, gold or diamond chest with a 
Shulker Shell; it keeps the parent chest's capacity and, being a shulker box, keeps its contents when broken.
