Storage Controller Placement and Connectivity
A Storage Controller coordinates individual chests and barrels into an organized warehouse network:
- Place the Storage Controller block in a central location within your storage room.
- Place Sophisticated Barrels, Chests, or Limited Barrels directly touching the controller or touching other connected storage blocks.
- The controller automatically detects touching containers, forming a continuous physical storage multi-block network.
- For detached containers located across the room, use a
Storage Tool or linking tool to connect distant containers wirelessly to the central controller.
Right-clicking the Storage Controller opens a master interaction face that accesses the combined inventory of all connected blocks.
Rapid Item Insertion and Central Deposit
The controller revolutionizes item unloading after returning from resource gathering:
- Double right-click the Storage Controller with an item in hand to deposit all matching items from your inventory into connected chests.
