What is Silent Gear?
Silent Gear is a mod for building customizable tools, weapons and armor from any material — vanilla ones plus new ores and metals — where each material contributes its own stats and traits.
What tool types does Silent Gear add?
Beyond vanilla tools it adds the Paxel (pickaxe/axe/shovel combo), Prospector Hammer (finds ores), Hammer (AOE pickaxe), Excavator (AOE shovel), Sickle, Mattock and a Saw that cuts whole trees.
How do you make gear in Silent Gear?
Craft gear from parts: a main part sets the core stats, with rods, tips and other components adding to it. The material of each part determines the gear's performance and traits.
Can you upgrade gear in Silent Gear?
Yes — gear is customizable and upgradable, so you can improve tools with better materials and traits over time rather than replacing them outright.
