How do you start Ars Nouveau?
Craft the Worn Notebook from a book and one Lapis Lazuli. It serves as the mod's in-game documentation and unlocks entries for glyphs, items and rituals as you progress.
What is Source in Ars Nouveau?
Source is the magical energy that powers the mod's machines and rituals. It is stored in Source Jars, generated by Sourcelinks, and moved between them by Source Relays.
How do you get higher-tier spells?
Access to higher-tier spells depends on your spell book. A novice book only reaches Tier 1; the Apprentice and Archmage books unlock progressively higher tiers, so upgrade your book as you learn more glyphs.
How do you automate Source generation?
Place a Sourcelink suited to your base — Volcanic (burns fuel), Agronomic (crop and tree growth), Vitalic (mob death and breeding), Mycelial (food) or Alchemical (potions) — next to Source Jars, and use Source Relays to move the Source where it is needed.
How do you teleport in Ars Nouveau?
A Warp Scroll teleports you once to a recorded location in the same dimension. The Stabilized Warp Scroll is reusable and can teleport across dimensions, and the Source Relay: Warper moves Source over unlimited distance between Warp relays.
What does the Enchanter's Wand do?
The Enchanter's Wand is the core casting and utility tool. Other casters specialize — the Enchanter's Mirror applies self spells, the Sword applies a touch spell on hit, and the Bow and Crossbow turn arrows into Spell Arrows.
