Begin by smelting Mekanism's ores — Osmium, Tin and others — into ingots, then craft Infused Alloy and a Basic Control Circuit. Those two components appear in nearly every early recipe and lead into machines, energy storage and the tier system.

Machines come in Basic, Advanced, Elite and Ultimate tiers. Apply a Tier Installer to upgrade a machine in place — the Basic Tier Installer uses Basic Control Circuits and iron, and higher installers use better circuits and metals.

Control circuits are the core component of most machines. The Basic Control Circuit upgrades to Advanced with Infused Alloy, then to Elite and Ultimate with better alloys — the higher the circuit, the higher the machine tier it unlocks.

Each MekaSuit piece is crafted from four HDPE Sheet, an Ultimate Control Circuit, the matching netherite armor piece, two Polonium Pellet and a Basic Induction Cell — an end-game set built on top of full netherite.

Energy is stored in Energy Tablets, Energy Cubes and Induction Cells, and moved through Universal Cables. Each transmitter type has tiers upgraded by wrapping eight of the previous tier with an Infused Alloy.

One per resource: Universal Cable for energy, Mechanical Pipe for fluids, Pressurized Tube for chemicals and gases, Logistical Transporter for items, and Thermodynamic Conductor for heat.
